We know you're always looking for some deer resistant perennials to add to your "bulletproof plant" lists, so try these:
·    Eupatorium maculatum ‘Gateway’ : 5-6’ tall and masses of pink flowers in late summer! Plant with the large ornamental grasses if you have the room. Magnificent!
·    Echinaceas:  All of the Echinacea purpurea cultivars, including Echinacea purpurea ‘Magnus’, ‘Big Sky Hybrids Echinacea Sundown, Echinacea Sunrise, Echinacea Harvest Moon have good degrees of deer resistance. ‘Magnus’  or the species purpurea is bullet-proof. And yes, this is the plant that the herb Echinacea is derived from. All parts of the plant, root, stem or leaf, have the herbal qualities of Echinacea.
